Recently, my wife, Jen, and I got to partake in some of the finest spaghetti in Mountville at Troop 349's dinner. Held at St. Paul's Methodist Church, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner cooked and served by the Boy Scouts. We were glad to support the troop, and meet these young men and their parents. I'm pictured here with the members of Troop 349, as well as Assistant Scout Master, Tim Schmidt and Assistant Scout Master John French.
I was happy to attend the legislative breakfast for the annual FFA State Leadership Conference in Harrisburg. With me here are several members of the Manor FFA chapter (from left): Rose Drumm, Justin High, Evan Ressler, Neve Consylman, Kate Campion, Katey Bleacher, and Sammy Bleacher. Each of these young people are leaders of the Manor FFA chapter and have plans to continue pursuing leadership positions next year. It was so encouraging to be in the room with hundreds of FFA students from all across PA, and especially with the students from Penn Manor High School. After the breakfast I was then able to give the students a tour of the Capitol.
